The new Australian rules for the sale of Viagra and other ED drugs are encouraging doctors and patients to consider their options.
Doctors and patients should ask about ED drugs and other medicines they prescribe, including:
“It is important to understand that ED drugs are not an aphrodisiac,” said Dr. Tore Spalding, a urologist at the University of Sydney.
“ED drugs can cause sexual side effects, and the risk for these can increase with increasing age. The main cause of ED is the use of these drugs without medical advice.”
Viagra and other ED drugs are available online at a significantly lower cost than they are in the UK.
“The majority of these drugs are prescription medicines. They are available in the UK for patients who don’t have health insurance,” said Spalding.
“A doctor can prescribe a number of drugs including Viagra, Tadalafil, and Stendra. These drugs are available online at a significantly lower cost than they are in the UK,” she said.
“Some drugs can be bought in bulk for a very small amount of money for a few people.
“When used by a larger group of patients it can be a more cost effective way to manage ED.”
Spalding said online pharmacies were more effective at finding the medicines they needed to treat erectile dysfunction and the cost of medicines that can be bought from them.
“You can find a medicine online, or you can buy it in a pharmacy,” she said.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has now approved Viagra and its generic, Cialis, to be sold in Australia, and Tadalafil is available from pharmacies without a prescription. The new rules mean that men with erectile dysfunction can get and use a lower-cost generic for the treatment of impotence.
“ED is a common condition that can be very expensive and requires a lot of money to get treatment,” Spalding said. “We believe that this is something that needs to be addressed with the right health care system.”
The rules have been in place since 1998, when the FDA approved a prescription drug for impotence, a sexual dysfunction which has been the subject of a number of investigations.
The first Australian study, led by Dr. John Davies, of the University of Melbourne, found that ED was the leading cause of sexual dysfunction among men aged 40 to 70 years old.
“ED is a common sexual dysfunction in young people and can also be an important symptom of it,” Davies said. “It can cause sexual problems in men who have been taking some other drugs, which can be very important for the health of a young man or his partner.”
Other studies have shown that ED can cause a significant drop in blood pressure in some men.
“In the majority of men who use ED drugs, the sexual side effects, such as impotence, have been the most important factors,” Spalding said.
The drugs were not available to be bought in Australia for men with ED.
The drugs were sold only by patients who have been prescribed them.
Cialis has been shown to cause some mild side effects. Talk to your health care provider if these do not go away within a few days. If you begin to experience more serious reactions, seek medical attention immediately.

My question has been "did you take tadalafil before the tadalafil was started?" I have been taking tadalafil for about 10 years. The first time I took tadalafil I started having difficulty getting a penile erection, and after a while, my pen was hard enough to take a penile erection. After about 10 years, I started taking tadalafil and it was very effective. It helped with my ED and made me feel more confident in my ability to get an erection. I also started taking tadalafil in response to my ED. I have no idea why I was taking it before. I feel that it's all there and my ability to get an erection is severely limited. I also don't know if there is a way to make it work the same way with tadalafil.

I just wanted to help. I have had a very bad experience with tadalafil, I would not have done that if I had known that it was the same medication. My wife and I were having a really hard time with the medication. She said she was going to have to go to the doctor and ask for more information.
